Retrieval Masters Credit Bureau keeps calling me about a debt I’m not sure I owe
For the past couple of weeks I’ve been getting nonstop calls from Retrieval Masters Credit Bureau. They keep saying I owe money on an old account, but I’ve never seen any paperwork or proof from them. I’ve told them to send me something in writing, but instead they just keep calling and leaving messages that feel more like threats than reminders.
It’s getting to the point where I’m anxious every time my phone rings. I’ve read that this kind of debt harassment isn’t okay, and that we do have rights when dealing with collection agencies. I came across this page that explains what steps you can take to make them stop: https://protectionforconsumers.com/stop-retrieval-masters-credit-bureau-debt-harassment/
Has anyone here had run-ins with Retrieval Masters Credit Bureau? Did you challenge the debt or just get them to back off? I’m curious what’s actually worked for people in this situation.
