From what I’ve read and played around with, a lot of these systems improve based on huge sets of past chats, like hundreds of thousands or more. It’s not that they’re “remembering” you personally, but they’re tuned from common patterns across tons of interactions. The other day I was setting up my laptop late at night, and it felt like every background app decided to update at once. The screen froze for a few seconds, fans spun up like crazy, and I honestly thought the thing was about to crash. Funny how computers pick the least convenient moments to do their “learning” or updating cycles, kind of reminds me of how people only start reorganizing their room when they’re supposed to be working.
