U-M Golf Course: The South State Street, Main Street and driving range entrances will be closed for Saturday's (Sept. 25, 3:30 p.m.) game against Rutgers at Michigan Stadium. The Stadium Blvd. entrance will be open for ADA parking in the Green Lot.
There are a number of parking options around Michigan Stadium on football game days. Many lots are permit-only, but there are also numerous options for guests looking for day of game/cash sale parking. Please go to the Football Parking Inventory page for a list of options and prices.
NOTE: Any closures to U-M lots due to weather will be listed near the top of this page. Radio stations WAAM (1600 AM), WJR (760 AM), WTKA (1050 AM) and WWJ (950 AM) carry gameday weather and parking information.
Lots for football parking open between 6 a.m. - Noon on game day. Please refer to the Football Parking Inventory page for specifics. Vehicles and RVs should vacate all lots within two hours after the game or vehicles will be towed.

Blue Lot: RVs may only access the Blue Lot with a Blue Lot RV permit. There are no day-of-game cash sales for RVs at the Blue Lot. All RVs will be directed to the RV parking area in the Blue Lot. Please note: Blue Lot passes are sold to season ticket holders based on priority points.

Reserved Game Day ParkingParking passes for reserved lots are provided to season ticket holders with specific lot assignments being determined by their Duke Club giving level. Reserved lots are indicated in purple on the map below. Tailgating in reserved lots is permitted starting at 8 a.m. and must cease 2 hours after the end of the game.General Game Day ParkingGeneral parking is available at no charge on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved in advance. General lots are indicated in gray on the map below. General lots open for parking at 8 a.m. and tailgating may begin four hours prior to game time. All tailgating must cease at kick-off. Please see below for directions to general parking lots. Fans are encouraged to utilize the free parking options in the parking garages throughout campus.Student Game Day ParkingA designated JMU student parking and tailgating area will be located in the R1 Lot, adjacent to D-Hub and Long Mauck Stadium. Vehicles will not be allowed access into the R1 Lot beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday and all remaining vehicles must be cleared by 6 a.m. on Saturday. Beginning at 6 a.m., any vehicle remaining in the lot will be ticketed and towed. This lot will become available starting 4 hours before game time and will be cleared 30 minutes before kickoff. To access the lot, the driver must present a valid JACard and game ticket and all passengers must also present a game ticket for entry. Any individual entering the R1 Lot on game day must present a football game ticket to gain access at one of the lot entry points.
Accessible ParkingHandicap accessible parking is available in lot R8 beginning at 8 a.m. on game day. A valid handicap hang-tag or license plate is required for access into the R8 lot. A handicap accessible shuttle is provided to drop off at the Godwin Transit Center (Gates C/D) and Gate A for elevator access.
RV/Bus ParkingClick here to purchase RV/Bus ParkingRV and bus parking is available for a cost of $35/game or $150 for the entire season, based on availability. You must purchase a pass and register your RV online prior to arriving on campus. RV's may arrive on campus Friday evening after 5 p.m. and must vacate by Sunday at 5 p.m. RV's must be in lot four hours prior to the game. All RV parking is located in lot R10 accessible from Hunters Road.
Reserved ParkingParking passes in the Ballard Parking Deck are provided to basketball season ticket holders with specific access, reserved and reserved/spot specific, being determined by their Duke Club giving level. Hospital Parking Ramp 1 or Hospital Parking Ramp 2 are reserved for patients and their visitors during home football games. Patients and their visitors should use either Hospital Parking Ramp 1 or 2. Hospital Parking Ramps 3 and 4 are dedicated to game day parking.
Most parking facilities around Kinnick Stadium are dedicated to game day on Friday evenings and all-day Saturday of home football games. Parking and Transportation recognizes that employees and patients still require parking accommodations during these events. Below is information related to parking lot closures and alternate parking options during game day.
UI Athletics managed football parking information for fans and game attendees can be found on the Hawkeye Sports Football page. CAMBUS provides shuttle service during home football games from select parking lots to near Kinnick Stadium.
Parking Lot 3, Library Lot is dedicated to football parking. Permit holders can use Recreation Center Lot - Lot 11, Iowa Memorial Union (IMU) Ramp, or North Campus Ramp as the closest alternative to park on game day. Faculty and staff permit holders are reminded they may use their Night and Weekend (NW) privileges to park in these alternate lots. Permit holders must use their parking access card to both enter and exit parking facilities to use their NW privileges.
Employees scheduled or called into work should use Hospital Parking Ramp 1, Hospital Parking Ramp 2, or Newton Road Ramp during home football games. Faculty and staff permit holders are reminded they may use their Night and Weekend (NW) privileges to park in these alternate lots. Permit holders must use their parking access card to both enter and exit parking facilities to use their NW privileges. Permit holders directly impacted by game day operations will receive direct communication from Parking and Transportation via email the week of each game.
Other parking lots around Kinnick Stadium including Parking Lot 33, 40, north Parking Lot 43 and south Parking Lot 75 are cleared to allow large vehicles to enter overnight. Signs are posted several days in advance to alert affected permit holders to remove their vehicles by the time posted, typically 6 p.m. the night before home games.
Beginning at 6 a.m. the day of home games, Evashevski Drive will be closed at Hawkins Drive and no vehicles will be allowed to enter the following parking facilities: Parking Lots 30 (Hospital Parking Ramp 4), 33, 40, 43, 46/47, 65, 75, and 80 (Hospital Parking Ramp 3).
Public parking availability and pricing is for standard-sized vehicles. No more than one vehicle allowed per space. Public parking payment is by debit/credit card (VISA, Mastercard, Discover) Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Pre-Paid Public Parking (reserved) available for purchase online in advance of the game. Purchase your parking and display phone or printed permit when entering the lot. Pre-paid public parking permits valid for one-time use and scanned at entry. Parking permit price includes parking cost plus ParkMobile convenience fee and transaction fee. Limit of one permit per transaction, license plate required for purchase. Purchases made with intent to resale may be cancelled and refunded prior to event.
