I have been looking all over the Internet today trying to locate touch up paint for my 2003 Suzuki Volusia. I've also looked over the entire bike trying to find a color code. Neither proved satisfactory!
It works with the intensity airbrush line between high impact base and clear... Best paints i have ever experienced. Highly recommended. Be sure you dont use too much reducer. Also, it likes to be built in a few layers- try to avoid thick coats but its sprayers preference.
Tamco DTM primers are a very thick primer that works good especially for restoration work or complete re-paints that need old finishes sealed up. Use a 2.5 tip when unreduced, or a 1.7 tip when reduced 10%. Mixing it 4:1:1/2 works good for large areas (more than 2-3 panels at a time) with a 1.7 tip or temps above 80 and use slow reducer. The primer sands best when set up overnight at 70 degrees or warmer. Cooler temps affect how it hardens up and sands the next day. 2 coats unreduced, or three to four coats when reduced is how I like to use it. The longer it cures, the better it sands with all grits of sandpaper. It never gets rock hard or difficult to sand.

For older cars, the refinish industry can only provide accurate colour matches to vehicles that currently have paint containing lead on them by using the same lead-based pigments. If you are using these products you should be careful when sanding-down old paints and when spraying with new ones. Some older cars may also contain lead auto-body filler.
Auto paints may also contain lead in the form of lead driers (at levels up to 0.5% by weight). They are used on trucks and commercials, and in anti-corrosive pigments in some primers used on new cars.
A major problem with these spray paints is that people often apply them to objects other than their cars, for example, to household goods, furniture and buildings. They should be used only for their prime purpose, that is, touching-up cars.
Use a particulate or air-purifying respirator that meets Australian Standard 1716. It should be fitted with a P1 (dust) or P2 (dust and fumes) filter, both of which capture small particles of lead.
